The air fryer makes the falafel much more healthy alternative to regular falafel. As regular falafels are deep fried in oil and makes it high on calorie. Here I have used simple techniques and easy method to get the best taste in small amount of time.
Low calorie Falafel using air fryer
Falafel would be a perfect healthy breakfast or lunch. Made with easy ingredients, here I am using air fryer to make it low calorie breakfast.
- Coriander ~ Dhaniya
- Onion
- Ginger – Garlic
- Olive oil
- Spinach
- Salt
- Red chilli powder
- Maida ~ All purpose floor
- Lemon
- Pepper
- Soaked Kabuli channa
- Mix Soaked channa, salt, red chilli powder, pepper, onion, ginger, garlic, maida, olive oil, spinach, coriander and little water

- Add a lemon zest to it.

- Grind all the ingredients together while adding as little water as required. Once you have the paste ready, prepare small balls from that mixture.

- Set the air fryer to 350°F and air fry the falafel balls for 10 mins. You can apply some oil on top and bottom. Then turn it around if they are not done yet. In 15 mins you would have perfect Falafel ready.
